Where to Have Your Event
Several venues are available to host an event or meeting at Marquette University. The Alumni Memorial Union, located at 1442 W. Wisconsin Avenue has large ballrooms and conference space, and a fine dining room for smaller events.
AT THE ALUMNI MEMORIAL UNION:
The Monaghan Ballroom
The Monaghan Ballroom is an excellent venue choice for a large event, accommodating up to 1,000 guests. It is located on the third floor of the AMU. This 10,000 square foot room has an adjoining lounge and veranda. The Monaghan Ballroom can be split into smaller Ballrooms, seating 90-400 guests, depending on your needs. The Ballrooms have built-in sound systems, moveable dance floors and several layout and seating options.
Lunda Room
The Lunda Room offers gourmet dining in an elegant atmosphere, seating up to 90 guests. It is perfect for those more formal brunches, luncheons and dinners. It is located on the second floor of AMU. The Lunda Room is reservable weekday evenings and anytime on weekends.
Henke Lounge
The Henke Lounge is a large-sized (1,122 sq. ft.) room located on the second floor of the AMU. It is an excellent choice for formal meetings and informal receptions.
Meeting Rooms
There are several small, medium and large meeting rooms available at AMU in various sizes (120 to 1,729 square feet) to accommodate between two and 100 guests. Many of these rooms are "Smart Rooms" with drop down screens and laptop ready for a presentation.
Brooks Lounge
The Brooks Lounge is the AMU's game room and activity center. With pool tables, dart boards, two larger screen TV's and video games, the Brooks Lounge is a great place to have a fun get together. In addition, it has a medium-size meeting room available next door and an independent sound and lighting system.

West Towne Square
If you're looking for a place to have an outdoor event, then the West Town Square might be perfect for you. Nestled between the Weasler Auditorium and the Alumni Memorial Union, West Towne Square can hold a large-size tent if needed. West Towne Square is often home to outdoor movies, lunches and dinners and bands.
Union Sports Annex
The Union Sports Annex is a great place with a great atmosphere. The Annex combines a bowling center, sport court and restaurant. All areas are available for rental, whether it's a volleyball game in the court, a get together in the restaurant or a bowling party in the bowling center. The Annex is conveniently located on the corner of 16th St. & Wells Street.
Varsity Theater
The Varsity Theater has a 32 foot stage and can accommodate 1,156 guests in the auditorium for lectures: 856 on the orchestra level and 300 in the balcony. The Varsity Theater, located at 1326 West Wisconsin Avenue is available evenings and weekends.
Weasler Auditorium
A covered promenade connects the 496-seat Weasler Auditorium with the main building of the AMU. The Weasler Auditorium boasts a 32 foot stage, two dressing rooms, a coat room and a box office.
